Bingo Night
Who wants to win and walk away with a prize? Mark your calendars - you don't want to miss out on Pershing Family BINGO! The fun will take place on Friday, April 4th from 5:30-8:30. This event is cash or card only. Concessions will be available for purchase along with your BINGO cards. Open to students, families and friends. Children playing BINGO must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, pers state BINGO rules.

*Odyssey of the Mind
Special thanks to:
- Ms. Hawk - Recommending Pershing MS to host the Odyssey of the Mind Competition. It was a huge success!
- Ms. Fogarty - Volunteering for the concession stands to raise funds for UIL
- Ms. LaShawn McDonald - Organizing the vendors who provided food options that were a huge hit! Ms. McDonald also set up a vendor for the Gr.6-7 Dance Friday.
- PTO - Helping to make sure that Pershing was supported as always.
- Pershing Community - Thank you for the cooperation and patience as we navigated the hosting of 2 large events on campus.

Congratulations to our district Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Program winners!
- 7th grader Madeline Williams received an HISD finalist ribbon for her artwork "A Different Kind of Rodeo"
- 8th grader Santiago Escalona Barreto received a first place ribbon for his artwork "Cowboy Bonding"
- 8th grader Camryn Barrow received a first place ribbon for her artwork "On an Adventure"
- 8th grader Mateo Montiel Salgado received a first place ribbon for his artwork "Tender Nobility"
- 8th grader Kylie Chua received a third place ribbon for her artwork "Solacing Cow"
Everyone is welcome to attend the HISD Rodeo School Arts show on display at the Hattie Mae White Educational Center from February 10th- March 7.
In addition to our rodeo winners, we have more good news. Allison Corona's Art Scholarship from the Glassell Outdoor Sketching competition has been extended through the spring semester.

Congratulation to the Pershing Dance Team who competed at the Trendsetters Dance Competition in Willis, TX and brought home some trophies!
