Pershing 7th Grade Field Trip to Moody Gardens

We are no longer taking permission slips and payments; the cut off was May 3, 2019.  The buses will be leaving Pershing at 9:00 am and leaving Moody Gardens at 1:45 pm.  Students must wear their school uniform shirt and khaki or blue jean bottoms.  They are allowed to wear shorts following the fingertip rule (when your hands are down, the length of the shorts must be at your fingertip).  Students who are not going on the field trip, will remain with a teacher at the school; it will be a regular instructional day.  Students must bring a sack lunch including beverages.  Students who need a school provided lunch must sign the roster in their testing room this Wednesday.

E STILL NEED 10 CHAPERONES for the field trip the sign up is here.   There is no cost to chaperone, the Pershing PTO will cover it.  Please arrive at 8:30 and wait on the benches in the front of school, Ms Tinker (7th grade assistant principal) or someone will give you directions from there.  The field trip will be from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM on May 17.  Chaperones will ride with the kids on the bus.  Volunteers must be VIPS approved.
